Hello, Alebrickes! How are you? I hope you're all right!
This time I did a portrait to use as a reference in one of my stories. When I write I like to have the images of all the characters that are part of my stories so I can imagine them clearly or even the image itself helps me to create aspects of their personality and stories. The downside of this is that it’s very difficult to find real models that fit all the aspects that I want to represent in my male protagonists so sometimes I have to draw them myself but always taking references from models, actors from anyone real that exists in the world.
It's funny that with men always have this problem, when I seek women to represent my characters I find so many to choose that is a very easy job. Is it because I'm more choosy about men or because it's easier for women to look good because of makeup?

Esta vez hice un retrato para usar de referencia en una de mis historias. Cuando escribo me gusta tener las imágenes de todos los personajes que formaran parte de mis relatos, así puedo imaginarlos claramente o incluso la propia imagen me ayuda a crear aspectos de su personalidad e historias. Lo malo de esto es que me es muy dificil encontrar modelos reales que encajen con todos los aspectos que quiero que representen en mis protagonistas varones así que a veces debo dibujarlos yo misma, eso sí, siempre sacando referencias de modelos, actores o cualquier persona real que exista en el mundo.
Es curioso que con los hombres siempre tenga este problema, cuando busco mujeres para representar a mis personajes encuentro tantas que elegir es fácil. ¿Será que es porque soy más exigente con los hombres o porque es más fácil que las mujeres se vean bien gracias al maquillaje?
