Many girls I see on Tinder write on their profile, "No hookup."

Okay that's fine. Let's just be friends then. I understand that perhaps saying that is your way of trying to protect yourself as you've probably been hurt before by some douchebag.

But yo, that is not your ticket to disrespecting other people.

I've encountered girls under the No Hookup-umbrella and they were offended by the smallest of things. And then they assumed I wanted to hookup just because I asked them out.

One of them said to me straight that since I chose to go for an event instead of meeting her somewhere else, she concluded that I was only looking for a hookup (because douchebags like me only will meet girls at their houses or hotels right?) 

I told her before, I had to work at the event. God damn, I don't know what world she lives in, but in my world, money doesn't grow on trees. 

Not cool...

Trust me when I say this: For whichever seemingly douchey dude you've come across, all of them were hurt before too, and their way of coping is acting like an egoistical asshole.

Sometimes, family is not everything

Infidelity is a psychological phenomenon today

Because good people do it too, for whatever reason.

For the bad people, that reason is that they're just hurtful assholes.

That said, it's a mindfuck because they've twisted it in their heads so much that it has become a righteous norm to them.

I pity them for that. 

I've cheated before when I was younger. I fucked up. But I never want to abide to such a disgusting standard. To treat it like a norm is just a pathetic disguise for your own insecurities.

It's a cliche I've fallen into. I just would love to immerse myself in the Big Apple for once in my life.

But I heard it's overrated.

The streets are dirty. Shit is expensive and apparently some Americans believe that the Earth is flat.
