Have you ever done something nice for someone and their immediate reply is, "... Why?"

And then people around you, your friends and family also ask the same thing.

Why?

Why did you do that nice thing?

What did he or she ever do for you that you'd go out of your way to do that nice thing for them?

Are you in love with him/her?

What do you stand to again?

Why be nice?

Your default response can simply be this: "Oh, I just wanted to do something nice for someone."

It's a mystery.

It's an enigma.

It's an answer that'd blow minds.

But you can use that answer.

There's no disrespectful way to be nice.

Here's a bigger mystery though...

A lot of people choose the negative choice to be not nice.

"Should I put this up on social media to shame that person?"

"Should I lose my temper and just act like a gorilla in public?"

"Should I cheat that person out of his hard-earned money?"

"Should I hurt others?"

"Should I entirely eliminate my sense of self-preservation and reflect badly of myself to others even though I am adult?"

Their answer is... yes.

Both sides are mind-blowing.

Choose the positive side.

Choose the side that doesn't hurt others.

Choose the one that hurts, but gives you the truth and a comfortable lie.

Choose the one with common sense.

Choose the one that shows kindness.

Choose to be respectful.

You probably will make mistakes, but always yearn to the light side.

It's my personal wish some Steemians here read this and stop acting like kids.
