Inspiration and motivation come in phases
I get inspired by a lot of things.
Books, both fiction and non-fiction.
YouTube videos.
Dance events.
Graphic novels.
Blog articles like this.
Speeches.
Talking to people.
Video games.
Netflix, both TV series or movies.
And so on.
But the thing is, they come in phases. Everything above, I'd indulge in each of them for a certain period of time until I get bored.
I don't partake in all of them usually. Needless to say, I don't stick to one for long.
I think inspiration and motivation come in phases, little blocks of time at appropriate periods of your life.
So don't overindulge. Don't stick to one, especially when it's starting to bore you. Don't lament when things don't seem to have the same effect anymore either.
Just move on to the next source.
Inspiration and motivation shouldn't be treated like porn, in which it is guaranteed pleasure and release.

First, I want to point out that I find you very entertaining. 🤓
I thought it was odd that you advise us against sticking to one thing for very long, to avoid boredom.
Then you close the whole post with a statement that didn’t follow the advice.
At the end of this post you said:

I read it twice to make sure. It looks like you are saying that people should move quickly to various hobbies and habits. Then you say not to treat things the way you treat Porn. So are you saying ... you don’t move on to various branches of xxx movies and just stick to one?
I would think the same rule would apply to the adult movie choices... also to avoid boredom.
Not that it is any of my business.
