Learning Photography - #Day 4
So today's design element is contrast, contrast in colour to be precise. I found today's element really difficult to capture, since up to this point I have been taking naturalistic photos. The issue with this is nature is typically very harmonious, or at least what i can access is, so to find contrast I turned to man made subjects of interest. enjoy.
So the point of this post is to take at least one picture a day based on a visual theme, as a way to learn photography. Each day's theme is as follows;
Monday - Repetition
Tuesday - Scale/size
Wednesday - Texture
Thursday - Colour, contrast
Friday - Colour, harmony
Saturday -funday !
Sunday - Line/direction
I found a plant in my back yard, obviously the red contrasts with the other plats. Just taking a photo of this seemed like the easy way out. So I went out.
I found a textile store and took a particular interest in the sewing thread and the lines divided into colour and tone.
Finally I found an old coca-cola sign, i messed around with the framing both for visual effect and to cut out a rather unimpressive background. This sign has such cool graphics!
Too sum up, reds to tend to contrast with alot XD
