Working on a Versailles clock / Pendule de Versailles
Working on a very well done 19th century copy of a 18th century clock who is exposed in Versailles. Ormoulu gilded bronze.

no doubt there will be a 20th and 21st century copy of a 19 century copy of a 18 century original ...... I am just having a silly day, don't take this serious ....
Maybe the 18 century original is also a copy :-D
that would be funny, but not impossible. The design could still be about 100 years older, like 17th C - Baroque started around 1600
