Just be careful. they say its free from censorship but it only takes one whale to down vote you to kill your account.
your post can be found in the blockchain but yes , it can get flagged if you spam the site. However whatever you post is permanently stored in the chain. Even if flagged on the site. Steemit is just one part of the STEEM blockchain. An app called SteemQ is in the works. It will be a censorship resistant version of youtube.
