SLC S27 Week5 - Let's Play OpenTTD Multiplayer Competition

Assalamualaikum my fellows I hope you will be fine by the grace of Allah.

I am participating in the video game OpenTTD challenge by @sergeyk. I like to play games but I started playing this game for the first time while participating in the challenge. I hope I will learn and showcase my work through this challenge.

🚂Task 1✈️

The blog post can be about anything related to OpenTTD. Describe your vision of the game; maybe you discovered something new and interesting that wasn’t covered in my lessons.

I am game lover and I have played many action and video games such as PUBG, FREEFIRE, CALLONDUTY, and some others. But I have found OpenTTD game completely different which works just like a real game.

When I started playing openttd I thought it is just related to building roads and buying buses to run on them. I folowed and learnt instrcutions by teacher sergeyk to play game. I built random stations and did wait for the profits to come.

Later on I discovered how a town grows and rewards the transport company. I also discovered if I do not do anything productive for the town the town will not grow and my rating will decrease. I will not be able to build new things until my rating improves.

I supplied many passengers and mails between towns by connecting them with road tranpsort, air transport, and through waterways. By doing this the town grow rapidly and the passengers and mails also increase ultimately increasing profit.

I am seeing NewGRFs in the game but I do not know about them. I can guess these are special maps or kits which we can use to customize our experience. I want to know more about them.

My vision for openttd is that it is more than just a transport game. The game simulates the growth of the towns, management of the good transport system to solve the problems of the towns. Each piece of road, station, airport, dock shows a great impact on the economy of the game. The game trains its players about resource management strategies.

One thing which I really like about the game is the dynamic growth and development of the towns where the cargo is transported. It does not require us to build buildings or trees but it manages these things by itself.

🚂Task 2✈️

I want to share the rating of my company which tell severything how I am doing in the towns.

I started game late and I tried my best to find some good and big towns. I worked in more than one town. In all the towns where I worked my rating is outstanding and very good. It shows my good work for all the towns where I worked.

All these graphs show the value of my company, the delivery of the cargo, my profit index, and profile of my company.

I repaid my all loan which was given to me at initial stage. I did not get more loan but developed my company from 200K.

Total 69 stations including bus stations, cargo stations, airports, and docks.

I have tried to spot the places on the map where I worked. I love planes but many planes carshes.

I built two heliport stations but I was not able to run any single helicopter. I tried many times but I did not see helicopter in the list. I wanted to try helicopters as well in the online server and multiplayers but maybe I started late that is why I could not find helicopters to use.
