The Earth is a Soul
I've spent the majority of the day working hard on Chapter 2 of my book: The Bridge to Understanding. However, I was experiencing a bit of difficulty with writing today, so I decided to pause to do a quick free-write to get those creative juices going again.

The Earth is a Soul
The Earth is alive, a living thing.
The Earth has consciousness.
No matter the state in which it exists,
it exists in infinity.
We are not created from nothing.
We do not expire to nothing.
Everything is tied together.
Everything exists in unity.
We impact the Earth,
and in turn we are impacted by the Earth.
We are not separate.
When we violate the Earth,
we violate ourselves.
If we are wrong,
we will be corrected.

An opportunity for Change
If we want to improve our world,
we must improve ourselves.
The problem on the outside
stems from a problem on the inside.
We can't ask others to make a change
that we ourselves aren't willing to make.
We must be willing to make a personal contribution.
~Akiroq
Nature always finds a balance, no thing is unnatural...

This opens up such an interesting thought: Is anything we create unnatural, can it even be unnatural? What is unnatural? People throw around the word natural around all the time, but yet chemical, compositional changes also happen all the time. Are they only unnatural when "we* cause them? Or, are they natural because we cause them/they can be caused.
And yes, everything seems to balance out eventually.
I love how you were able to extract exactly what I was eluding to from such a succinct statement... Well done ! I’ve spent a great deal of my time and energy here reminding others that we mustn’t be so bold as to remove ourselves and our manipulations or discoveries from nature.
Many are not ready to accept this premise and immediately begin to posture or defend the notion that we as a species have some unparalleled power to destroy creation with our synthesis.
Again it’s a matter of perspective, I don’t judge or separate destruction from creation they are in eternal tandem.
Pleasure to have stumbled across your blog and I look forward to seeing more of your musings 🙏🏽

It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thank you.

This is impacting and powerful.
Everything is indeed, connected to everything else.
The underlying message is something I think about everyday.
So true, it's easy to acknowledge a desire for change/improvement, but it's something entirely different than being the change/improvement desired.
Exactly!
I loved this freewrite Akiroq! I look forward to reading more of your beautiful writing in the future.
Thanks, @futuremind. I wrote this poem as a warning to humankind.
The earth in some form or another will never cease to exist (even if we blast it into a million pieces), but we, as humans, if we continue our treacherous ways, will be corrected/removed from the equation(permanently). It's time for humanity to make a change (for the better).
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. <3
