* LIVE A HOLY LIFE*

1 Peter 1:14
"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:"

1:15 "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;"

Before we came to Christ we were living in sin, as a result of lusts in our ignorance, because we do not know. But now that Christ has redeemed us, we have been called by Him, let us now live as obedient children, not living according to the former way of sin when we were ignorant of Christ.

But because the God who has called us is holy, we should also live in Holiness in all areas of our lives especially in our conversation. Before we say, we must first think in our heart, because it is whatever you think in your heart that will come out of your mouth.

In the book of Matthew 15:18, it's stated that "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man." It therefore means we should sanctify our hearts and always think right with the help of the holy spirit, because Jesus said in book of John 14, that he will send the holy spirit who will teach us all things.

As children of Light, righteousness and true holiness should be our priority.

I pray the Lord sanctify our hearts and give us the Grace to live a new life of holiness in Christ, and give us the holy spirit to teach us the will of our Father in Jesus Christ name.
