The reason why out of all cryptocurrencies Dogecoin went down is that many people are still afraid that Dogecoin's plans to expand are now over if Elon Musk steps down as the CEO.
About what is going on with Sam Bankman-fried, he was arrested last week by the Bahamian authorities. This was followed by the notification from the US that it has filed 8 criminal charges against him. While SBF is residing in a jail cell in the Bahamas, his lawyer is trying to get him out with $250k bail claiming that he suffered from Insomnia, and depression and also he doesn't have any criminal record. The lawyer also requested that the prison provide him with vegan food. Of course, SBF has the right to ask for bail but the court denied the request claiming it will be a major flight risk.
SFB lawyers have been fighting for about a week to reverse extradition and they are doing their best to keep him in the Bahamas. SBF threw his lawyers off-guard went he announced that he is ready to waive his right to fight the fraud charges over the collapse of FTX. I think he is doing this because he going to be stocked in the US through the legal process and he knows what will certainly happen he thinks it might be better in the Bahamas than spending his life in prison. There is a team overseeing FTX bankruptcy proceedings and they are saying the donation made by SBF to the Democratic party should be returned.
You should know that Voyager filed for bankruptcy in July, and many people were affected by this because their money was locked up. Right now, it looks like things are moving forward because Binance is moving forward to save them. If we can wait for feel months, and there is a successful acquisition, we might be able to see some people's money getting unlocked. Binance is the higher best bit for Voyager's assets and they are pledging about 1 Billion but the deal with not proceed until Voyager's bankruptcy court approves Voyager to do so next month.
Donald Trump released his own NFTs which can be found in the Opensea and anyone could buy this. 45,000 NFTs were selling for $99 each and NFTs collectors will be entered for a raffle draw. They win an opportunity to have dinner alongside Trump, a Zoom call with Trump, or an autograph. The NFTs ended up selling out within 12 hours and it netted him over $4 million. Right now, the NFT is selling for 0.24 ETH which is about $290 and it is about a 190% increase in less than a week. Even in the worse market condition, it is still the time some people are finding success in setting up the right businesses.
