meine Housesitting Zeit oder besser: Gardensitting Zeit!
Hey ihr lieben,
Ich durfte ja schon auf Apartments oder Häuser kurzfristig aufpassen, doch diesmal ist es sehr speziell und etwas besonderes!
Die Inhaber der Mini Farm bauen alles selbst an und somit machte ich zum ersten Mal Bekanntschaft mit einem sogenannten „Polytunnel“.
Polytunnel? Was is‘n das schon wieder?
Ein Polytunnel, oder auch bekannt als Polyhouse, Hoop-Gewächshaus oder Hoophouse, Grow Tunnel oder High Tunnel, ist ein Tunnel, der normalerweise aus einem Stahlgerüst besteht und mit Polyäthylen bedeckt ist.
Meist ist dieser halbkreisförmig, quadratisch und/ oder langgestreckt.
Im inneren erwärmt es sich, weil die einfallende Sonnenstrahlung von der Sonne im Inneren des Tunnels alles schneller erwärmt.
Die durch die Wärme von heißen Innenflächen erwärmte Luft wird durch das Material gehalten.
Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit und Belüftung kann man, durch im Polytunnel befestigte Geräte oder auch durch manuelles Öffnen und Schließen der Lüftungsöffnungen, kontrollieren.
Polytunnel werden meist in gemäßigten Regionen in ähnlicher Weise wie Glasgewächshäuser verwendet.
So, ich bin dann wieder in der Natur!

Hey you love, I was allowed to take care of apartments or houses in the short term, but this time it is very special and special!
The owners of the Mini Farm build everything themselves, so I made my first acquaintance with a so-called "Polytunnel".
Polytunnel? What's that again?
A polytunnel, or otherwise known as a polyhouse, hoop greenhouse or hoophouse, grow tunnel or high tunnel, is a tunnel that is usually made of a steel framework and covered with polyethylene.
Usually this is semicircular, square and/ or elongated.
Inside, it warms up because the incoming solar radiation from the sun inside the tunnel heats everything faster.
The heated by the heat from hot inner surfaces air is held by the material.
Temperature, humidity and ventilation can be controlled by devices mounted in the polytunnel or by manually opening and closing the vents. Polytunnel are mostly used in temperate regions similar to to glasshouses.
