Hi everyone today I will like to participate in this contest organized by @ruthjoe in steem-agro community. Agriculture play an important role in human life which also give us the ability to choose any type of food we want at our own convenience.

Broiler chicken is very common in my countryside where some people rear them for human consumption, while others do it for commercial purposes in order to earn a profit in return. They have different varieties of feeds which are locally made in Nigeria, such as Chikun or Ultima Starter, used to feed day-old chicks up to 6 weeks, followed by grower feed given to the chicks from 6 to 16 weeks.

The main purpose of this feed is to burn fat and increase their growth. Finisher is the last feed we should continue to feed our birds until they reach the slaughter stage. The meat of broiler chickens tastes nice after they are thoroughly cooked in our various houses so that we can live a healthier life. Broilers are one of the fastest-growing chicken breeds among others bred for chicken.

Broiler chicken is perfectly okay for me when roasted with pepper. The most interesting thing is that the moment you continue eating it, your bones will be strong all the time and reduce the risk of injuries occurring. Chicken is a great source of protein for humans because it helps with weight management. Although broiler chicken should not be eaten every day to avoid too much cholesterol, which is very dangerous for our bodies.
