Thankyou Fatima. You're right he was Persian poet Islamic scholar and yes Allama Iqbal considered him as his teacher. Molana rumi is soul of love, a man cant understand their teaching without a kamil murshid(sufi teacher)

Thank you. I love Rumi. I was reading about his love for Shams the other day. The burning, spiritual love that consumed him, the connection with the Divine.....makes me tear up when I imagine how Rumi must have felt when Shams disappeared. I'm so drawn to the Sufis that I wonder whether in a past life I was in Persia....somewhere beautiful like that. Thanks again :)
Bha, i shall complete reading this book soon. It is in my shelf too, i gave it a happy reading but due to some unnecessarily business could not had gaze on it. Thanks to inspire me to read again.
