WHY DO MOTHERS DIE?

She had a bang on the door, it was still 3 am in the morning, she decide to stay put, then the bang got louder and alarming, she jumped from her bed and shouted at the person banging to stop, the person from the other side told her it was important and that it was an emergency, she asked who the person was and found out it was her own sister, her sister was crying and banging the door, she tried to calm her down and ask what had happened in between tears, her sister told her their mother had collapsed, she rushed past her sister to their mother's room and found her mother lieing lifeless on the floor, she tried using water to wake her, she tried pressing her chest like the doctors do on TV, she breathed air into her but their mother didn't wake up, she rushed out to call the neighbours to help her, she got help and eventually her mother was taken to the hospital.

while in the hospital she prayed so hard that God should spare her mother's life, she was all she got, she tried calling her father, the irresponsible man that had made their mother go through an unhappy life, he didn't pick the call like he always do.Her mother was a dedicated worshipper and prayer warrior, nice and kind. So she prayed harder and was so sure God will answer her prayers.

After so many hours, the doctor came out and told them they had lost their mother, her heart stopped for a second, she felt like the whole building was crashing on her, why would God do this, why, Her mother had done a lot of things to raise them alone, she had suffered for them, cried, went hungry, got beaten by their father, just to keep staying in the house to cater for them. Her phone beeped and she saw an email that was sent to her, a company had approved her project, proposing to pay a 50 million dollars. She had studied hard and worked hard just for her mother, all this things were suppose to revolve around her mother, and when she got to the ward her dead mother was, she unveiled the face wit her own hands and felt weak in the knee, she wanted to fall but couldn't, she wanted to cry but couldn't, she wanted to scream but her voice seized, she felt lifeless, the doctor had told them their mother had high blood pressure and she didn't tell her or her sister while she was alive, she was like that, always keeping things to herself to make her children happy and untroubled. She looked at her mother's face again and wish she had done more for her before her death,how Was she going to be a mother to her sister, who was going to be there o her wedding day, who will her children call grandma, who will she turn to when she is frustrated in life, who Wil encourage her when she is down, who Wil support her when noone does, who Wil still make her feel like a baby, she then said, why do mothers die, it is the most painful and saddest day of her life.
