Which one will you choose?

Imagine a Sunday evening. You have planned to meet your parents and take them out to a beautiful restaurant because it's their anniversary. It is an important day for them and you want to ensure that they feel most happy that day.

Now imagine just before going out, you get a call from your boss that an urgent meeting needs to be attended with your client and it is a really important for your company.

Both the situations are important and require your presence.

Which one will you choose?

Option A - Ask your boss politely to schedule the meeting later by explaining him about your parents anniversary and apologize for not being able to help at that moment.

Option B - To apologize to your parents for not being able to attend them because of the urgent meeting and hoping that since they are your family they will understand the situation and be okay with it.

If you choose A, your boss might be super mad at you, you may lose that promotion or even worse may get fired.

If you choose B, your parents will feel bad. But you can always make up for that later.

So which option will you choose?
