My wife asked me - let's stop our newspaper subscription?
I was surprised so asked why?
She said that you only read business news which is anyway available online. Why waste time and money?
My wife also doesn't read the newspaper.
So I finally stopped the subscription.
After 8 months when I look back, this is what I achieved.
Money saved (Small but hey! its hard cash :)
House looks cleaner. My little kiddo is the first one to tear apart the newspaper on any day. Old newspapers just pile up and take space.
I save at least 15-20 mins on a daily basis by not reading/skimming newspaper.
I am more positive. Though I used to read the business news still I would skim front page and other pages which are always covered with hate, crime, negative news which unnecessary breeds negativity.
Small sacrifice but big gain. I am loving it :)
