It’s not going to happen easy

We don't get to the top of a mountain by just sauntering there, nice and easy. We don't build our dream body by stuffing our face and lounging on the sofa. No work of art gets created without angst and anger, soul searching, endless iterations, blood, sweat, toil and tears. We don't get to enjoy a fabulous relationship without investing honesty, passion, trust, unconditionality, commitment, love and selflessness.

And why would it come easy? If we want the best of everything, we've got to make ourselves worthy of the best. Which means slogging it out, battling through the challenges, getting smacked on our face, crashing down and pulling ourselves up again. We've got to go at it hammer and tongs, tirelessly, never giving up hope, without letting our passion, enthusiasm, commitment and determination dim even the slightest.

But there's no doubt that we can. Of course we have it in us. That's why we were given these goals and dreams - cause we possess the mettle to make them happen. And when we commit to this endeavour, that's when our best self will come to the fore.

So let's not waste time in moaning how hard things are. Let's not doubt or question ourselves. Let's not compare our path with anyone else's.

Let's just dive in and create magic.
