How do you feel on being corrected

Writing is the best way to pen down our thoughts. Writing brings out the poet, story teller or may be a revolutionary hidden in us. Many times the thoughts go on in our mind and we get clarity on them when we share with someone or write down.

Two friends were walking along a beach. They had an argument and one friend slapped the other. The one who got slapped was hurt but without saying anything wrote in the sand,
TODAY MY FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN MY FACE.

They continued silently until they had to cross an inlet. The one who had been slapped got caught in the current and began to panic but his friend saved him. After he recovered, he carved on a stone, TODAY MY FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and saved his life was surprised and asked the reason for writing on sand and rock.

The friend said, "When someone hurts us, write on sand where waves of forgiveness can wash it away. And the good someone does must be carved on stone where it can never be forgotten."

A MISTAKE IS A LESSON

Do you come across mistakes in people's work?
Do you correct them?
Do you ignore them?
What effect does it have on their performance or your relationship with them?
How do they take it?

We all are humans. And we tend to make mistakes. Mistakes can be anywhere- in decision making, writing, speaking or while doing any activity. Different people react in different ways when corrected for their mistakes.

Ofcourse, mistakes are not done intentionally, that's why called MIS-TAKE.

Some people will be happy to be corrected, so that they remember and not repeat it again.

Some people may feel bad being pointed out and respond angrily.

Another set of people may feel themselves as good for nothing, making mistakes always, not able to perform well. They may develop a bad impression of themselves in their own mind and cut themselves off.
