He is a star performer

A star was lost because he was treated like a slave...

I was at a far flung location - at a branch that had 22 employees. The Relationship Manager had quit but earnestly requested to be included in the 2 day session since he had heard much about it.

The program navigates through peoples lives and their journey. What hit them, what blessed them, what raised them...and then I would do a correlation between the triggered change in perspective + behavior. It helped understand why people behave in a certain way thus building lasting bridges.

He was a star performer who was formidable. But his performance dipped in the last 10 months. Needed more leaves. The Branch Manager was an old world stuffy coat. He thought permitting leaves to employees that they were entitled to was like liberating the slaves he bought. Unless they sweat and fell to the floor or sat screwed to chairs - they were no good.

During the session the RM revealed his wife was diagnosed with TB of the spine. The chemo is just as hard as cancer. He moved 30 kms away to his mother in laws house so there is someone to look after his.He was only 42 kgs and frail. There was silence in the room as he shared more.
