He had a reason to feel

I had called him up for no reason, but just to have a hearty talk. He was surprised. His voice tone didn't show the same warmth with which I had called him. He was thinking that I had some work, or an agenda.

He had a reason to feel so.

These days we generally call. or meet some one only when there is work. Or, when we have some hidden agenda. No one wants to spare time, or concern for building up heart-to-heart ties. If we don't fit in this criteria, then we are considered to be from different planet.

Are human relations bound by interest only? Why we don't look beyond our petty interests in a relationship?
