Do you ever feel like a tree
Do you ever feel like a tree?
In today’s hectic society, where everything goes by at the speed of light, where human interactions are spent in a matter of minutes, if not seconds, on social media… Could we just, maybe, learn something from Mother Nature?
I like very much walking in the nature, among the trees, and looking up at them I sometimes meditate on how it would feel to be like a tree.
How it would feel to keep growing, day after day, with patience and dedication, in the good and the bad times.
Like an evergreen tree, always happy, always shining among the others, sad without leaves.
Like a giant sequoia, firm in my beliefs, standing tall and strong.
Like a fruit tree, always giving to others, without expectation.
Like a weeping willow, easily adapting to external factors, giving in and then coming back, unscathed.
Trees were on Earth before us, and probably still be after Humanity will be long gone.
Trees… Our brothers. Still, peaceful, eternal.
Do you ever feel like a tree? And if so, which one?
