Most of us were between the ages of 18 and 25. We all studied in public schools during the same period, in popular or middle-class neighborhoods. جماعة صغيرة كنا... نتحدث عن تغيرات المغرب خلال السنوات الأخيرة...نتذكر تفاصيلا مضت وأشياء كثيرة تغيرت: في الممارسات المجتمعية، في السياسة، في العلاقات... الأمر طبيعي في النهاية، فالمجتمعات جميعها تتغير. تسوء فيها أشياء وتتحسن أخرى... لكنها في النهاية، وبشكل طبيعي، تتحول. تتطور. لا تبقى ثابتة..
كانت أعمار معظمنا تتراوح بين الثامنة عشر والخامسة و العشرين. درسنا جميعنا في المدارس الحكومية خلال نفس الفترة تقريبا، في أحياء شعبية أو متوسطة. حينها، كانت المدارس الحكومية توفر جودة لا بأس بها، مكنتنا من متابعة دراساتنا لاحقا لتحقيق حد أدنى من الاستقلال المهني والمادي. اليوم، يبدو هذا الواقع بعيدا لأن التعليم الحكومي أصبح أزمة لا ينجو من ويلاتها إلا من استطاع إلى التعليم الخاص سبيلا
