Watercolor Portraits.. Facing My fear!
The only thing that makes me a little anxious in watercolors is making portraits out of them. I am very much comfortable sketching them but have always thought twice before giving watercolor portraits a shot. I once attempted a portrait and it was so disastrous that I never wanted to see it again :D
Anyway, I decided that I needed to step out of this little game and actually try it out. There are certain parts that are traced out from pencil as I didn't want to put my time in sketching them correctly and then painting. I wanted to jump directly into it so that even if there were mistakes, I could easily give it a second attempt. It took me almost a day to complete this and I was actually happy with the results. There are still plenty of things to be rectified but then that's for my next portrait. I hope you guys like it :)
