The 100 Heads Challenge (Day 1)
I finally prioritised some time to catch up on some of my favorite art channels on youtube and all of that led to me starting with the 100 heads challenge by Ahmed Aldoori (January, 2019) The idea of taking reference pictures and giving attention to the details (contrast, highlights, ratio) along with the freedom of being creative seemed very appealing to me. For today, I used the Pinterest board suggested in the challenge video itself which was tremendously helpful.
This is a 10 day challenge which means I have to complete 90 head sketches by 8th of May. (10 sketches each day) I will probably be changing a few of these like adding some color or texture to liven up the page (which kinda seems dull to me) but for now I have written down the time taken for each one. Let me know what you think? :)
