Reviving
As I am on my way to almost filling up one of my sketchbooks, I saw some old pencil sketches which looked as if they could be jazzed up a little. I think I was also looking at an excuse to use some bold colors with a retro feel. I painted right over the ink first and added another layer after the paint was dry.
Adding so many bright colors in a single illustration is not really my style but I really enjoyed doing this one. Definitely works as an interesting backdrop/background! In the next page, I had another lifeless sketch waiting to be converted :P I only like the color transition in the glasses and it didn’t impress me too much. This was around 5 am and my already 2 days of sleepless brain couldn’t come up with any more ideas. I might cover the color patches and make something better out if it. Thoughts?
