A Day Of Celebrating Art @JJH

Over the past 1 month, I have seen Jaipur Jantar host quite a few interesting workshops and events especially after my visit and today it makes really happy to share with you guys that I along with a few of my friends will be exhibiting our artworks in the upcoming Kala Cafe on the 9th of June.

Many activities have been laid out for this day beginning with some music and the exhibition progressing towards an evening of open mic and jams, with food workshops being hosted simultaneously. It starts at 8 am and is expected to wrap up by night after some soulful meditation (for those interested). The main purpose of this day is to step away from those screens and chairs and have some fun!... & learn a little along the way ;)

I had originally planned to host another watercolor workshop but cannot this time due to some change of plans. My friends @komal, @ayushijain and @footlooselatika, (LTR) whose works are shown above will be exhibiting alongside me and I don't think I can ask for a better day than this! We have been working on the details of the artworks for the past 4 days and will soon get them ready for display.

If any of you are around the city on this day, I would love it if you can make it to this event :) I think there should be more days where we can forget our responsibilities and make time for what we love. Or in fact just relax and enjoy the sweetness of doing nothing.. Cause.. who doesn't like that, right? And that's exactly what this day aims to do.
