MOTIVATION TO LEARN
Motivation in improving the spirit of learning is divided into two, namely internal motivation and external motivation. Internal motivation is the motivation that comes from within the individual itself. This motivation is more difficult to cultivate than external motivation, but if someone has succeeded in growing internal motivation in him, then the confidence will be formed so that will lead to a positive attitude and aware of his needs in learning.
While external motivation is a motivation that comes from outside the individual self that can affect the individual self. External motivation can come from the environment, social, reward or punishment, friend, parent role in educating children and many other things that can affect one's learning motivation. Everyone must be more understanding about each other with what can motivate him in improving the spirit of learning. Get to know yourself first if you have not found a way to overcome your sense of laziness in learning or you can try some ways to improve your inner learning spirit:
1. Hang out with people eager to learn
Friends deeply affect us, especially if we are often with him then what is his nature or habits very easily we are infected with the nature and habits. Lazy friends can make you affected and lazy follow-up, sometimes we are lazy to learn because our friends are also lazy to learn. Conversely, a passionate friend in learning greatly affects us, so seeing it makes us want to imitate it. Positive aura can be contagious. So clever-pandailah in choosing friends, because friends greatly affect our lives. Even if we want to get to know other people we do not know, we can see with whom he befriends us to be able to know him.
2. Create a target to be achieved
In an effort to reach the goal, the target is very important to write, not only diinget because the power of our brain is not able to always remember it. Write the targets we have to accomplish on the paper and then stick to places we often see, such as cabinets, wall chambers or can also be written in your agenda or diary book. By writing the targets we will achieve this has a great power in achieving success. According to Mario Teguh an Indonesian motivator, make it look like you are being chased by an anjang. Someone pursued by a dog then he will run as hard as he does without paying attention to the danger of the obstacles that exist, he will focus in order to survive the pursuit of the dog. If you are in learning as well as it is then the target will be quickly achieved.
3. Delay the fun
Imagine in your mind that something that begins with a struggle will surely end with pleasure and happiness. So delay your pleasure first, but replace it with the struggle to learn to learn science, although it tastes bitter, but if we have lived it then we will feel the pleasure. Learning is fun because we will be able to understand whatever we want to know. Delaying pleasure first for long happiness then there is no harm, than now we have fun but we do not know how our future fate without preparing it now, so struggle first with the spirit of learning.
4. Prove to people that you are smart
In fact everyone has been given the brain power to think that does not differ much from one person to another. What determines we are smart or not is not 100% brain power but will. A person who has a high willingness will have high motivation in achieving the target. Prove to the people that you also include people who have a high will, with the capital then your self will be motivated for the spirit of learning. A high learning spirit will make you smarter. Smart people are often invincible with people who are diligent and have high willpower. So prove that you can be a smart person.
5. Set the learning time
Arrange your time in all activities that will do. Setting the time will make you practice discipline and do not act at will alone or according to the will of the heart. Maybe when you're broken hearted, but you tomorrow will exam then you do not learn. This is the thing to avoid because learning must still work. So make a schedule so you do not get carried away with your emotions. If you look at your study schedule then do it, but not mean you have to be really tight with yourself. If you are sick you can rest first. If your schedule plays yes please use the time to play. By organizing your study time you will focus on your learning, as playtime, learning or others are well separated.
6. Focus five minutes
The hardest thing to do is to get it started. Sometimes we think doing other things is more comfortable and fun, but actually this is a brain mind that can be handled. To avoid the difficulty of starting learning then imagine in advance that you will learn only 5 minutes, then after that will stop. Thus, your brain will be more interested to learn because only briefly. But after you do the study in 5 minutes, then your brain will feel a comfort so you will be reluctant to start something else again. But note that in the first five minutes, you should really focus on your learning.
7. Stop or strat in the interesting part
When you're learning but you want to do something like eat or drink, then stop when you're studying in an interesting part. This will motivate yourself to start learning again after you eat or drink, because your mind will feel curious about its continuation. This is a trick you can try.
8. Get rid of or stay away from distractions
Many disorders that will make you feel tempted to move from learning and doing other antifitas, such as watching TV, sleeping, playing games, or sms girlfriend. So before you start to learn to get rid of these things or you choose a place to learn that avoid the various disorders. This will make your learning more focused.
