and Then I Met Him ...
When you think of the word LOVE , the breathtaking feeling that is frequently associated with it comes to mind....
The accomplishment of genuine love is then achieved when the butterflies we associate with the feeling , is replaced by a vow of commitment and stability. Somewhere along the way we make a personal choice to pledge ourselves to another. This is the transition from what we know as ''falling in love'' to the achievement of genuine love.
When we genuinely love another we care about them sacredly. It can mean that we put their needs before our own, even if it means having the self restraint to set aside our own demands and shift our attention to theirs.
I personally believe its about going above and beyond what we perceive as our own capabilities in a bid to make our loved one feel nurtured and cared for always.
And of course this also relates to mutual love- it's a beautiful act when two people of separate integrity are fully efficient in living separate from another yet are suited to living with each other and have made the mutual choice in sharing their lives.
The result is a healthy , loving relationship that is constant. And so the seeds grow-
in the soil of dignity and acceptance of ourselves and another.
