Ever heard of Svalbard?

It's a fucking crazy cold place associated with Norway, and is home to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault. The above is a direct link to the people associated with managing it, and the map demonstrates all of the countries involved. You may be familiar with the seed vault from recent news that a warming recently flooded the entrance of the vault. The vault preserves seeds of nearly every plant recorded in the world to be used in the face of a cataclysmic event.
There are existing settlements present scattered through the land, and there are no roads since 60% of the land is covered in glaciers at this time. Just some FYI about it's topography. The whole place has been flattened or torn asunder by the waxing and waning of glaciers over thousands of years.
