What are some of the biggest challenges faced by farmers today?

The biggest challenges that are faced by farmers are rodents, insects weed or grasses and even soil fertility.this are the challenges that farmers face today. Rodents are birds or animals that come to eat out our crop which will lead to a poor harvest. Insects are small creeping creatures that hang on leaves of a particular plant or they hang on the fruit which is going to be produced and they art them up which will result in low quantity of harvest.

Grasses are one of the challenges and also one of the things that discourage farming and farmers because if the grasses in your farm are not properly taken care of they may end up preventing the crop from yielding a good harvest.
And lastly if a land which a person is supposed to plant on is not fertile and does not have manure to make the the crop to do well it will not have good produce.

◉ How does climate change impact agricultural productivity?

Climate is one of the things that contribute to agricultural productivity because when there is excessive sunlight the crop will not produce well but when there is moderate sunlight and moderate rainfall the plants will yield good crop. Ok if it is raining and eventually you have planted your crops and the rain comes in and on and there is lesser sunlight your crops or plants may flood out of the soil. But as we all know climate plays big role in our crops development, either good or bad, climate helps.

◉ What innovations or technologies are emerging to help farmers address these challenges?

There are many innovation that are helping farmers now in addressing this challenges which they are the use of insecticide and weed chemical killer ,the use of scarecrow to scare away birds and other animals away from a person's farm. And also the use of fertilizer has been encouraged in places that do not have fertile land to farm or to plant on . Using this fertilizer can help your crops yeild well in a non fertile farmland. With this many of the challenges which farmers have been facing in trying to grow crops for either earning cash or for food are now reduced.
