ParkenDD Logo/Icon Proposal
What is ParkenDD?
ParkenDD shows you the current parking situation for various European cities, including Dresden, Ingolstadt, Hamburg, Zürich and Aarhus to name a select few. Depending on the available data you can see the current number of available public parking spots as well as their location. For a select number of lots you can also check out forecast information to see if there will be spots available when you arrive. ( More About ParkenDD )
Logo Ideas
The contents of the application are shown on the map, which are available for parking.
So i integrate the letter "P" as a marker for parking also a map pin in a magnifying glass which searching available for parking place..

Benefits / Improvements
The old logo only contains a letter "P" and it is not enought but after this logo; while a person looking at this logo can easily understand that it is an application which searching avaliable parking location.
I believe that this logo will increase the popularity of ParkDD because it's designed to be remarkable and purposeful..

-my answer for that " in info parkendd says same as u but also adding that : "The backend to ParkenDD is also open source. You're very welcome to help us by integrating further open data into our project so that we can support more cities" link
so this app is try to grow up.. right now "yes european cities" but in future all world..
___so now i askıng u that " now ı desıgn a logo for europe than ı ll change ıt when app ıs grow up?"
i thınk a logo ıs the best "brand value" of a application.. because people see logo before applicatıon how to workıng.. and if u become a brand, u cant change it "often"
anyway i thınk now you understand why ı choice " a world desıgn" rather than "a european symbol"

-my answer for that ; of course before start a project i try to search and my ideas coming like that.. what is parkendd : " app whıch ıs searchıng parkıng place" rıght? also u thınkıng same as me and u sayıng that " global search logo".. thats rıght "bıngo".. when u search a app (like parkendd) on google store or anywhere, first of all you look a app whıch is in your mind..
---thats why while i desıgn my logo i combine "generic with parkendd".. I think it will be more attractive and understandable..and it is right now..
also comen.. lets look parkendd logo right now.. it is just a "p letter" and says "parking"... my logo is not the best but "MORE BENEFİTS" than old version.. isnt it?

i think "a logo can be generic" but cant be copy paste..

i not talking about just on this logo.. i will contunie logo desıgn on utopıan.and ı will use generic symbols or desıgn too..
i thınk use generic symbols ıs "not a problem" also the other side if u use it carefully and better also combıne it your app.. it will be more "ATTRACTİVE"
