Rohingyas will be sent back to ensure safe environment.....!!!
Burmese refugees fleeing the mind of tragic torture will be returned to Myanmar by ensuring a safe environment. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said that the Rohingya repatriation process is a little delayed, adding that the agreement was signed by UN Rohingya Organization UNHCR in the rehabilitation of Rohingya.
He also said that Bangladesh wants to send Rohingya with fundamental right with the UN agency and return home to Bangladesh. This situation is likely to be hampered due to the hasty in the repatriation process.
Foreign Minister Shahriar Alam said this while visiting the Rohingya camp with a 32-member European Union delegation to the newly formed refugee camp, Ukhira Kutupalong, in Cox's Bazar, Kokupalong, on Monday.
On Monday morning, representatives from the public and private sector NGO organizations waiting for the camp to visit the delegation of the Rohingya camp were welcomed by the EU delegation. Later, the delegates visited the Rohingya camp and saw their habitat, lodging, eating, sanitation and medical treatment. At the time, they also spoke with the Rohingyas of the oppressed.
In the meantime, many raped and abused husbands, Rohingya women described the sad events of losing their loved ones. Along with that, many of the lazy Rohingya who was shot by the Myanmar army said they lost their belongings. Claiming that if they were sent back to Myanmar, they would not have to return to this country again.
During the briefing of the camp on the camp, EU delegation chief Jean Lambert said the situation in Myanmar is still worrisome. The European Union and the international community believe that before sending the Rohingya back, the Myanmar government will have to create a safe environment.
He said that the situation in Myanmar that Rohingyas have described is not in favor of the environment. Because of which Rohingya migrated from Myanmar to Bangladesh. Jean Lambert urged Myanmar to return Rohingya by creating a safe environment.
The delegation included James Nicholson, Richard Corbett, Wazid Khan, Sajjad Karim, Mark Tarabal and 32 members of the European Union. In addition to meeting with the Rohingyas during the inspection, they participated in relief activities and visited various projects of international organizations.
Rohingyas back is badly needed for keeping environment safe.
