I've enjoyed a number of your posts, but this time, I don't.
If people believe you and set their birds free, do you know what will happen to most of them? They will be dead within 24 hours.
Ask the bird, I am certain it would prefer to live another year or more.
It is the same for humans. A lifetime spent in slavery makes freedon a threat, not a blessing.
If it is not a threat to you, then count yourself lucky as you stare at the photos of young black men who've been tricked to go to Libya, where they are being sold as slaves.
Look at their faces and you'll know just how lucky you are, but please, do not get sentimental about birds, hamster etc which do not know how to survive freedom
