Here in Merseyside, I am hearing the same thing.

I have spoken to numerous people, but nobody knows of anyone who has/had the COVID-19 virus or died from it. One person I spoke to said that his son's wife is a nurse. She said that it's deadly quiet within the hospital.

I am not hearing from local people at firsthand of any infected people, only from the media. Normally when there is an outbreak of flu/bad colds, people talk about those suffering from it - not heard anyhing.
