Original content always!
I write my own content, every time and always. I have been curating the feed and I am flabergasted by the amount of machine generated garbage out there.
I’ve seen one post which was clearly a spell check on a poorly scanned in document. It looks like written English but is in reality just gibberish. This scares me because some people have upvoted it. It is galling as a writer to have my crafted content apparently worth less than utter shit.
Curation is important, it will save this platform from becoming a sewer of reposted porn and random words thrown on screen.
I am not demanding more recognition for my efforts, that would be nice, that will come in time when people attune to my voice and idiom. I am demanding that people curate properly, this is vital to keep the worthiness of STEEM.
Keep sharp, curate wisely and lets get rid of the rubbish.

I try and ignore the pandering here, post valid comments in the spirit of getting to know the non-bots and promote conversation.
This is the second post in 5 minutes along the same lines and I too try and make sure I post quality content and reward the well-thought-out responses with upvotes.

It is sad but you would see that it is so that there are quite a lot of rubbish posted and you are write often it is the case when you read and wonder is that person really posted that. People who are a while in Steemit and have more Steem Power will automatically receive more upvotes from their friends, who even do not read the content, there are bots that automatically voting them. For new people it is a hard time to go through that and do not give up. By the way if you post via https://busy.org you receive upvote from busy too, your login setting will be the same so many people do that, me inclusive, but on very few occasion busy may not work but this is very seldom.
By the way, I love you glove, it mush be very hash sail, North sea is very rough :)

I agree. Also the other platforms are full of low content posts... You chose a nice picture to proof your point. BTW I learned the sailing is such a hard work.
