Bitcoin BTC & Bitcoin BCH are forks of Bitcoin

Bitcoin Whitepaper section 2: "We define an electronic coin as a chain of digital signatures." Bitcoin post-August 24, 2017 is Bitcoin Segwit (aka Core) Bitcoin signatures are no longer in the "Bitcoin" chain.

It's not a mistake. Bitcoin BTC & Bitcoin BCH are forks of Bitcoin.

Everything which is hashed into blocks and needed to verify whether the block is valid is 'in the Bitcoin chain'.

I don't like SegWit, but there is no need to pretend signatures are removed.

Not pretending they are removed, the signatures are "only" visible to Bitcoin Segwit clients.

Call it Bitcoin Segwit. My bitcoin node can't see those signatures. It is what it is Bitcoin Segwit.

I upgraded to Bitcoin BCH all is good, I'll Upgrade my Bitcoin BTC when I'm told it's compulsory. while I can still use Bitcoin I'll keep using bitcoin, I have no need for Bitcoin Segwit. (aka Core)
