Cooking At Home: Eggs Florentine
Hello Steemians. Would you like to learn some stylish methods to prepare the eggs? Eggs Florentine are made using a rich hollandaise sauce to turn an ordinary breakfast into a culinary treat.
To prepare eggs Florentine you will need:
2 eggs
A bread roll
A handful of spinach
Hollandaise sauce ingredients:
2 egg yolks
100g of butter
A teaspoon of water
A teaspoon of lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
First, prepare the sauce. Melt 3/4 of butter and remove from heat. Beat the yolks until they thicken. Add water, lemon juice, salt, and pepper and beat for another half a minute. Add the remaining butter and beat until the mixture is thick. Then gently mix with the melted butter until the sauce becomes cream-like. Once the sauce achieves its optimal thickness, stop adding butter. Steam the spinach and place it on the bread roll. Poach the eggs and place over the spinach. Cover with the hollandaise sauce that you've just made and your tasty eggs Florentine are ready to serve.
