Kuau Raja

Kuau Raja or in its scientific name Argusianus argus is one of the birds present in the Phasianidae tribe. Kuau Raja has reddish-brown fur and a blue scalp. Adult male birds are very large, length can reach 200cm. Above his head was a crest of black-colored cot and neck. Adult birds also have very long wings and tail feathers, adorned with large spots resembling the eyes of insects or oceli. The female bird is smaller than the male bird, about 75cm long, with a brownish-headed head. The tail feathers and female wings are not as long as the male birds, and are only decorated with little oceli.
