This is a 1963 320 Datsun ldv , which when it came out popularised the small ldv market , and was the forerunner of all the many models we see today!
Wayne purchased it from his soon to be Brother-in-Law, Barry.
We collected it with a Trailer last Saturday from approximately 100 kilometers away.
Rear View , we are going to make a new back for it.
Aluminium checker Plate will form the Flat Bed back we envisage!
Obviously designed for small Asian Guy's ?
Wayne can just get in it, but the Steering wheel is jammed on his legs!
For those who know cars?, this is a Ford Kent Motor, we have no idea what condition it is in?
We have a just overhauled Kent Motor (and Gearbox ) waiting to be fitted.

Rear subframe on which we will attach the Aluminium Sheets..
We plan on making the Cab Colour Cobalt Blue, and as the Chrome pieces are badly pitted ( you can see the Grille on the seat) we will be sanding and making semi-matt Black!
Will post the Further developments as we go along!
Should make an interesting little Town Runabout?, I have not seen one of these for many years.
good luck with the hard work ahead, but my guess is this is your passion, and you are going to love doing it.
When it comes to cars I have absolutely no clue on what’s going on. I just pay the mechanic and come pick my car up. Good luck fixing the car.

according to me, because we have the nature of want to know and want to learn, so we improve a lot of work.
I need to show this to my hubby, he would love working on this kind of project. Take lots of pics "before, during and after" and good luck. Looks like hard work!
