After a long 8 km hike up the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa, there is nothing better than cooling your feet in the cool mountain river. This is the start of the mighty Tugela River, it's source is 2 km up stream from here at Mont-Aux-Sources (18th Highest point in South Africa 3282 m above sea level).
A further 1 km down stream is the highest waterfall in Africa as the Tugela River plunges over the side of the Srakensberg Mountains

The "highest"swimming pool in South Africa - about 15 m from the lip of the Tugela River Waterfall on top of the Drakensberg Mountains.

Africa is beautiful but difficult to live in
Very difficult. Where I live crime is a threat all the time, police brutality and inactivity is rampant. Cost of living is spinning out of control. Work is difficult.
Yet we have to live and adapt and make the most of it.
The African nature is beautiful and I like to get into nature as often as I can.
