THE MOST RIDICULOUS FIFPRO AWARD EVER

You don't know what FIFPro award is? It's an award or awards given to eleven players great at their respective positions. These set of players make up a team and they are termed the deadliest team of the year; although them playing together is not possible. It's not easy making it to the team because you have to be better than all the players playing your position in a season. FIFA considers every football tournaments including national team games, that's why it is seen as the biggest award.

If you thought last year's award was a joke, then you need to see this. It is the biggest joke of all. Salah made it to top three best players in the world last season but wasn't in the FIFpro eleven. The same thing didn't happen this season, but some players placed in it this time around were complete write-offs. The image below shows all the players for this year's award.

Real Madrid players were very poor in terms of play last season except Benzema. The French man was their best player, but it was surprising to see four Real Madrid players in FIFpro eleven yesterday. Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos Eden Hazard and Marcelo were listed and it got every eyebrows raised. Marcelo was injured for some time and when he came back, he wasn't in full form. In fact, the coach had to place him on the bench. Sergio Ramos was also poor for Real Madrid. He wasn't there when they needed him due to his constant red card, yet he got the award. I'm still wondering why they listed Modric, too.

None of these players were listed in Laliga team of the season, so being the best in the world was questionable. Lots of left backs and right backs deserved that spot, but FIFA decided to look into the Real Madrid team. No Manchester City player was listed and they made history last season. Van Dijk was the only player of Liverpool listed and we all know Liverpool is the best team in the world currently.

Chelsea fans might disagree with me here. Hazard didn't deserve the spot, too. He is good, no doubt, but since the award is for a year, Sadio Mane should have replaced him instead.
