DEADPOOL 2 MOVIE REVIEW

_Deadpool

Deadpool is my favorite superhero. Oh! He doesn’t seem like a superhero, or is he? He’s not the regular superheroes we know, I believe they are meant to be smart, handsome/beautiful, pitiful, concerned, gentle and attentive. Deadpool doesn’t poccess any of these characteristics, he’s the exact opposite of them. He’s one funny guy who doesn’t give a shit about anything, he lost his face and got powers. He believes bad guys are meant to die and he’s doing just that.

What’s the issue between Wolverine and Deadpool? Perhaps, he’s trying to let us know he’s a better superhero. It was actually a joke though, he called him a dick and joked about how he died. Anyway, I agree with him, he’s way cooler and couldn’t die. Marvel produced both characters, it was a good job letting us know there can be another superhero with a totally different character; it was more like the character of a bad guy.

I love almost every part of the movie. Nevertheless, there are still some parts I’d preferred they change or it shouldn’t have been included.

First, he lost his girlfriend. Really? Aren’t Marvel and other superhero film makers tired of letting us believe superheroes lose their beloved ones? Especially their girlfriends. I’m not sure there’s any who still has a girlfriend, if he does, she’s dying soon. Common! You can be a hero and still protect your loved ones till your last breadth. It’s high time they stopped letting us know being a superhero will cost you someone dear to you. I thought Deadpool changes the idea of the superhero notion, I guess it’s just another one.

A warning to parents;

You wouldn’t want to watch this movie with your kid, if you are the holy type too, stay clear. Kids love superheroes and the movie isn’t centered on sex but the number of fuck words used and the killing spree in the movie is enough to give an headache. It’s just an advice, overlook this and enjoy the movie. It is way better than the first part, lots of kids acted in this and shitty words were minimized.

Deadpool was meant to be funny, just funny. So, I wouldn’t talk much on spoilers, everything you don’t find right is actually meant to make you laugh. But, I still maintain my stand. It’s just another superhero movie, a replica of the former ones, but this time, it was made to be funny. Someone coming from the future to kill is something we’ve seen, why bring it up again? Then, who we thought as the bad guy wasn’t actually a bad guy, the big guy from the mutant prison happened to be the main threat. Marvel has written similar story lines with other superheroes.

Is Deadpool just a funny movie? I bet it is and I love it. Yes! And the flaws too.

I guess I’m exaggerating a bit on the flaws, they actually joked on other heroic movies and brought their actions into play, they made it look good and funny. There was a part the big iron guy told the fire fist to surrender, the line he used was from Robocop and they pointed it out, that was funny. I believe you understand what I’m trying to look out here, or what they are trying to tell us.

Back to that part, the young fire fist escaped from the mutant building. They should have at least let us know how. The building wasn’t burnt but the cars outside were badly burnt, they made it look like he ran away from them (the mutant rehabilitation center). Meanwhile, fire fist hates them, he had always wanted to kill Eddie Marsan. I’m sure you will agree with me that he would have tried to do that before running away. Still he didn’t try to kill Eddie when he came out to the scene where he was later arrested. That part needed a retouch.
