Crazy Tornado 4k !!
why there are tornadoes on our land:
When a mass of hot air and a mass of cold air meet, the contrasts in temperature are sometimes so violent within a few kilometers that tornadoes can form under the storm cells (made up of several cumulonimbus).
When ascending a stormy cell, pushed by the ascending winds, and when it encounters jet stream, or jet stream, at 9 or 10 km altitude at mid-latitudes, its summit is then drawn into the intense current which blows on average between 100 and 320 km / h. The impressive cloud mass then begins to turn slowly on itself before forming a tornado.
Its base takes on a very dark color because, located lower and lower and covered by the cloudy ceiling, it no longer receives direct sunlight while the one diffusing through the interior of the cloud is absorbed before coming out. Its top, on the other hand, is of a sparkling white when it is visible from the ground or observed from an airplane.
If the air mass is very unstable, violent upward movements of up to 100 m / s (375 km / h) can be created within the cloud. The base of the cumulonimbus then sets in motion creating a vortex inside the cloud where the pressure becomes very low - it can drop by 80 millibars (mbar).
Under the effect of this low pressure, the base takes the form of a funnel. If the cloud reaches the surface of the ground, it turns into a tornado. If it develops above the sea, it is called a water-spout. Find out more about this strange phenomenon in this issue.
