Achievement #5, Task 1

This task is to go to steemworld.org and explain how to use some of its features. I will be doing that now.

1. How does one check their Reward Summary?

To check the reward summary for all time, for the last 30 days, and for the last 7 days, first you need to go to steemworld.org and click Dashboard:

If this is your first time visiting steemworld.org, you will need to click "switch account":

A dialogue box will come up, into which type your account name (without the @ symbol):

On your dashboard, be sure "stats" is selected:

Then scroll down to where it shows the rewards summary:

This shows the summary for all time, for the last 30 days, and for the last 7 days.

2. What are delegations, what are the types of delegations, and how does one delegate SP?

The more STEEM Power (SP) you have, the more value your vote holds and the more rewards will accrue when you curate. Delegation is when someone lends SP to someone else to use on their behalf. Then the delegatee's votes hold value as if they had the SP that was delegated to them. You can cancel your delegations any time, and then it takes 7 days before you can power down the SP again.
There are two types of delegations: incoming and outgoing. There is also a category for expiring delegations, showing delegations that are in the process of expiring.
To delegate, click "Delegate...":

A dialogue box comes up. Type in the person to whom you wish to delegate and the amount of SP to delegate:

Then click OK. A confirmation box comes up:

Input your private Active Key:

There is a minimum amount you must delegate, so my 0.001 SP was not enough, but it was just an example.

3. How does one check incoming and outgoing votes?

Now go back to Stats on the left side:

You see on the bottom right of this screenshot it has buttons for "inc. votes" and "out. votes".
To view incoming votes, click "inc. votes". This is what comes up for me:

As you can see, I got one incoming upvote, from sqube. I can also see the incoming downvotes by clicking the dropdown menu and clicking "downvotes":

I had no downvotes, so this just gave a blank window.

To view outgoing votes, click "out. votes". Here are my results:

4. How does one check account operations for the past 7 days, and what operations can be checked?

Scroll down to "account operations":

You can check votes, curation rewards, author rewards, comment posting, comment editing, following and ignoring accounts. Anything you do on your account for the last 7 days is recorded here.

5. Explain author, curation, and beneficiary rewards. Also, show author and curation rewards for your account for past 7 days.

Author rewards are given for your being the author of posts. When people upvote your posts, they give you author rewards. Curation rewards are given for your curating others' material. They are given when you upvote others' posts or comments. To make use of beneficiary rewards, you can add 0-8 beneficiaries with the "comment_options" operation to posts or comments. This distributes part of the author reward to another account or accounts.

I have no author or beneficiary rewards in the last 7 days, but here are my curation rewards. To show them, I clicked the "curation rewards" tab and then the "refresh" button:

6. How do you check your upvote value at different voting weights using this site?

All one needs to do is to go to the dial in the upper left corner of the page. You can adjust it between 0% and 100%, and the numbers to the right of it correspond to the setting you select. In my case, I have only around 60 SP, so my voting power is $0.00 even at 100%; however, if I had more SP, the numbers would show the amounts my votes would be worth corresponding to the percent vote I selected.



Thanks to the curation accounts and to @cryptokannon for this achievement, this was enlightening.
