Cash Bans in Australia; not the only place this is happening
For those who don't know The Modern Investor, take a look at his channel on YT.
In response to this video, I have to say; Great content! Thank you!
There's an attempt in Australia to ban cash also right now. It's really interesting when you learn that the person behind the cash ban (Michael Andrew) ran KPMG during the time when HSBC was caught money-laundering on 2012. How is this relevant? KPMG were the appointed Auditor of HSBC during this time!
Hmmmm....
Would love to hear your thoughts on the ban on cash in Australia.
The tricky thing is the Act underpinning the cash ban (If voted on, and passed in Parliament) is just a tool that allows the implementation of Regulations that can be enforced by a Minister without any need to vote or consult the public.
These sneaky F*€ker$ are distracting the public by hiding it behind a $20K B2B transactional restriction. This is in the Regulation and not the Act. So $10K can become $1K or less, and B2B could become any entities transacting.
For those who think it's just their country doing this, wake up! It's happening almost everywhere. Take a look at your side of the fence and stand up for your rights.
I'm pro BTC and most other crypto, but we haven't send mass adoption yet. What happens to those people penned into a system that limits their ability to participate in the market?
