Hoy me uno a la hermoso concurso de SteemWomen Club donde nos invitan a reciclar, se trata de darle una nueva utilidad a un objeto, antes de tirar algo a la basura siempre debemos ver que otra utilidad le podemos dar, ya que es una pequeña gota de amor que le damos a nuestra gran casa ¨El planeta tierra¨, quizás para algunas personas no tiene ningún significado, pero si muchas nos sumamos a este tipo de actividad con cada gota haríamos un océano de amor, para que otras generaciones puedan disfrutar de un ambiente más agradable. Como ama de casa siempre trato de economizar todo lo que sea posible y, como siempre digo: en casa pocas cosas se botan y muchas se aprovechan, también con el reciclaje podemos desarrollar nuestra creatividad y hacer una hermosa y productiva actividad en familia.
Today I join the beautiful SteemWomen Club contest where they invite us to recycle, it is about giving an object a new use, before throwing something away we must always see what other use we can give it, since it is a small drop of love that we give to our great house ¨The planet earth¨, perhaps for some people it has no meaning, but if many of us join this type of activity with each drop we would make an ocean of love, so that other generations can enjoy a more pleasant atmosphere. As a housewife, I always try to save as much as possible and, as I always say: at home few things are thrown away and many are used, also with recycling we can develop our creativity and do a beautiful and productive family activity.
Las invito a que me acompañen a reciclar un viejo pantalón y transformarlo en un lindo mantel individual.
I invite you to come with me to recycle an old pants and transform it into a nice placemat.
Materiales, instrumentos y utensilios que necesitaremos para esta actividad:
Máquina de coser
Tijera
Un pantalón en desuso
Hilo y aguja
Alfileres
Tiza para tela
Entretela con pega
Encaje blanco
Plancha para ropa
Cinta métrica
Tela para el logo
Papel y lápiz. (Tijera para papel ya que no debemos utilizar la misma que para la tela porque pierde el filo)
Materials, instruments and utensils that we will need for this activity:
Sewing machine
Scissor
A disused pants
Thread and needle
Pins
Fabric chalk
Interlining with glue
White lace
Clothes iron
Measuring tape
Logo fabric
Paper and pencil. (Scissors for paper since we should not use the same as for the fabric because it loses the edge)
Paso a paso / Step by step:
🌷Primero realicé en papel el logo de steemit y recorté.
🌷 First I made the steemit logo on paper and cut it out.
🌷Traspasé el logo a la tela y, para que no se moviera al momento de recortar lo fijé con una alfileres.
🌷 I transferred the logo to the fabric and, so that it would not move when cutting out, I fixed it with a pin.
🌷Con la ayuda de la plancha de ropa le coloqué la entretela al logo de Steemit, esto facilita la costura cuando estamos cociendo aplicaciones.
🌷 With the help of the clothes iron I placed the interlining to the Steemit logo, this facilitates sewing when we are cooking applications.
🌷Recorté una de las botas del pantalón un rectángulo de 30 cm x 46 cm y un bolsillo de 14 cm x 12 cm, luego le cosí un ruedo a todo el contorno del rectángulo, al bolsillo me gusto colocarlo por el revés de la tela, ya que tiene un tono más claro, de esta manera hace un contrate y resalta un poco.
🌷 I cut out one of the boots from the pants a rectangle of 30 cm x 46 cm and a pocket of 14 cm x 12 cm, then I sewed a hem around the contour of the rectangle, I liked to place the pocket on the wrong side of the fabric, now which has a lighter tone, in this way it makes a contrast and highlights a little.
🌷Luego cosí el logo en uno de los extremos, comencé a coser por el entro y luego el contorno externo, de esta manera no quedan burbujas en la costura.
🌷 Then I sewed the logo on one of the ends, I began to sew through the inside and then the outer contour, in this way there are no bubbles in the seam.
🌷Para darle un toque femenino al mantel individual, le coloqué por todo el contorno y al bolsillo un hermoso encaje blanco.
🌷To give the placemat a feminine touch, I placed beautiful white lace around the edge and pocket.
