The Amazing Shame Plant
This is called the Shame Plant, scientific name: Mimosa Pudica. I found it will walking along the beaches of Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica.
It's probably not native there because I also saw the same plant growing up in the Philippines. It's got a strange habit of curling up when you touch it.
I think it's cool. What do you think?

That plant is so neat! So many other names for it that people in Central America use as well, we saw it all over the place there.
I think it's just endemic in subtropical climates...or maybe it's from the new world brought over to the Philippines.
