Difference Between Laptop, Notebook and Netbook

This time we will see "the difference between a laptop and a notebook." It turns out that many people are still mistaken with the terms Notebook and Netbook in Indonesia. Some say that a Netbook is a Laptop, or even vice versa. In this day and age, computers have become a must-have item for everyone due to the demands of productivity or daily activities.

Before we get into the subject of "the difference between laptops, notebooks and netbooks" we must first know that the origin of the names of the three items is from English which has its own meaning. Then why in Indonesia , many people call these three items Laptops? Because calling laptop names is more familiar and has been known for a long time.

So, to find out more about the differences between laptops, notebooks and netbooks, let's just go straight into the material cuzzzz.

• Difference in Size
  We need to know, what are called Netbooks are those that have screen sizes between 6-13 inches, while the screen size on Notebooks is 13.1 inches to 18 inches, while laptops have screens of 18 inches and above. Laptops and Notebooks weigh from 1 kg to 8 kg depending on the size, material, design and specifications of the two devices, usually Notebooks are lighter because of their thin design or so-called ultrabooks.

• Specification

• Netbook
  Netbooks have a fairly small size, which is 6-13 inches, of course, they cannot have specifications that are too high, usually only equipped with a lower-middle class processor and do not have more than 2 GB of RAM, as well as with standard screen graphics. What characterizes the Netbook is the absence of a DVD-ROM in this Netbook.

• Notebook
  Notebooks have quite adequate specifications and are almost the same as PC type computers. Notebooks can have a large hard disk, powerful processor, and have a DVD-ROM. However, there are also some notebooks that do not have a DVD-ROM because of the thinness of the goods.

• Laptop
  the meaning of a laptop is meant when people say that a laptop in the modern world is also a portable computer that is relatively small in size from a computer that weighs less than 6 kg, the weight here depends on the size and model, if I specify the laptop is larger than notebook or in other words the laptop has a CD Room or CD or DVD player.   Currently, it is very difficult to distinguish between Notebooks and Laptops, because in my opinion, Notebooks are adaptations of Laptops, with models and components that are not much different. As for Netbooks, of course they can still be distinguished by the small screen size and not having a DVD-ROM in it.
