Radio To The Rescue (Class Review + Gameplay - Day of Infamy)

The radioman is often an under played class in Day of Infamy. That's understandable as you wind up having to lug around a radio pack instead of more deadly ordinance. While you could load yourself down with extra magazines or a few grenades, you'll be burdened with weight of the team on your back because without you the officers are just another man with another gun. It's up to you to facilitate the firepower of your nation upon those that would oppose you! You don't have to call the shots, but you need to be present for them to be called.

Still, you won't be stuck using just another standard rifle off the rack of your given faction. You'll start out with the semi-auto carbine that corresponds with your nationality. As you gather points, you can add to that rifle or pick up your choice of pistol or grenade. In my experience, extra ammo for you rifle tends to be the best course of action because that's what you'll be using most to cover the ass of your officer.

When it comes to points, kills shouldn't matter to you. Your radio pack speeds up the capture of conquest points as well as earns you assists for every kill your officer gets by calling in artillery from the radio on your back.
